Working in the Community
Palfrey Infant School is proud to be an active part of our local community and strives to ensure we participate and offer support wherever we can.
We are regularly involved in a number of initiatives such as:
- Local litter pick. More details of which can be found here
- Hosting regular Coffee Mornings where parents can meet and talk with local agencies such as:
- Local Police
- Caldmore Community Gardens
- YMCA Black Country Group Community Navigators
- Walsall Street Teams (safeguarding young people)
- Black Country Impact Walsall - offer advice to young people aged 16-29
- Sure Start (Walsall South and Central). Family Hub's latest activity leaflet is available here
- School Nursing Service
- Getting involved in WASUP with Professor Gatrad (Walsall Against Single Use Plastic Campaign)
- Tree Planting
- Our Harvest Festival donations this year supported Ablewell Advice Food bank.
- Healthy Eating Workshops. More details of which can be found here
- Walk to School initiatives to reduce car use and traffic problems around school
