Pupil Premium
The Government provides extra funding called Pupil Premium funding to schools for all children who are entitled. In Key Stage 1 all children receive a free school meal during the school day, which is a universal entitlement. This is a government scheme known as Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM).
Eligibility for Pupil Premium funding is dependent on the receipt of certain benefits and parents must register to enable the school to receive the extra funding. Pupil Premium funding is used to help children in school achieve better outcomes through targeted support.
